Ace and 1vs3 Clutch — Blurr snatches victory in the match against Virtus.pro

8 : 7 — a hard-fought victory!

between NAVI and Virtus.pro was a highlight of the game day. Both teams showed a great game, and our guys made a comeback and took the victory. One of the biggest contributors to the triumph was Byron "Blurr" Murray.

The first half of the game at Consulate NAVI showed not their best game. They didn't do much offensively, and by the end of the round before switching sides the score was 2 : 4 in favor of Virtus.pro.

The Bears managed to bring the game to a match point, 4 : 6. It already seemed that our team would lose their winning streak at the championship, but Blurr had other thoughts.

He had a fantastic round, killing all five enemies. Better check it out for yourself.

Winning the round gave the whole team motivation to keep fighting on, and they managed to take it to overtime. However, Virtus.pro did not give up easily.

7 : 7 — a decisive round was coming to determine the winner of the match, at which point Blurr, the star of the evening, once again came out on top. 

Byron was left alone against three, a very difficult, if not hopeless, situation. However, this state of events did not faze the player, he was calm and fully focused, and he had only one goal — to win the match.

He gets the first kill, followed immediately by the second, and then a 1v1 face off against the last Virtus.pro player. An extremely tense moment upon which all depended.

And Blurr handled the task perfectly! The 8 : 7 win extends our team's winning streak, and Byron becomes NAVI's best player deservedly!

As the player himself later admitted, he almost had a heart attack (although he was unemotional on the broadcast). A wonderful victory! But the tournament is far from over: the next opponent of NAVI will be the leader of the standings BDS Esport.
