NAVI roster for the first RMR tournament
b1t will play for NAVI at the first RMR tournament
In the end of January Valve released regarding RMR tournaments. According to them a team undergoes a compounding 20% penalty of the points earned at the event if they substitute at least one player during the tournament. This change turned out to be a major hurdle for the six-player teams, yet NAVI continued to have b1t and flamie play on different maps.
Nevertheless, the first RMR tournament will start soon, and Valve made it clear that they do not intend to change the rules. NAVI needs as many points as possible to qualify for the Major. In this regard, the team had to coordinate the final roster for the next tournament to avoid penalty points.
The club decided to play at the first RMR tournament with Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy. Egor “flamie” Vasilev remains a member of our main CS:GO roster. The team's coach Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi will give a detailed explanation regarding the recent decision in a vlog that will appear on NAVI next week.
NAVI will play at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 with this roster as well. This will give the team enough time to prepare every map before the start of RMR, taking into account b1t’s positions and role. Despite this, DreamHack is still an important tournament for NAVI, for which the team will train hard at the bootcamp in Kyiv from 11 to 24 April.
Playing against the best teams in the world comes with a significant amount of responsibility for B1t. Let's support NAVI at the upcoming tournaments!
