The Bucharest Major: the important win secured!

The deciding fight between NAVI.GG.BET and paiN Gaming was uncertain until the very end, but ultimately, we take the series, keeping ourselves in the tournament!

Game 1 - Natus Vincere [1:0] pain Gaming

The first game of the series started off not too well for NAVI initially, as paiN Gaming got a lot more kills initially, but that was not quite enough to secure them a comfortable lead into the midgame. We committed to some ganks and rotations of our own secured us some kills and swung the net worth advantage our way. Even though the opponents took the first Roshan of the game, we were still feeling quite comfortable, trading towers everywhere.

As the Radiant engaged in the top lane near our T3, Crystallize went for the opponents' T3 bottom, eventually taking it down. The teamfight that broke out saw most of the paiN Gaming dead, and we took one barrack, disengaging after that. As the second Roshan respawned, the Radiant smoked and pulled off a good fight, as we had to give up the Aegis and Cheese. The game seemed to stall, with only a couple of fights happening.

39 minutes in paiN Gaming initiated onto 3 of our heroes, and headed into the Roshpit; NAVI committed the buybacks, and re-engaged, ultimately coming out on top with 5 heroes dead on the side of the opponent. The third, important Roshan, was ours for the taking, and we made the most out of it very soon, as a fight broke out in the Radiant base.

The decisive fight unraveled in the Radiant base after a successful pickoff on Death Prophet. As there was no buyback available for her, NAVI took down the mid lane, and by that time the teams have already traded a few spells. However, Rubick was allowed to steal Black Hole, and it sealed the deal for our team, as there were no survivors after LeBron cast it, and the follow-up was there. We secure the game and move on!
