
Map pool update
Valve removed Train and added Ancient
Last night, Valve announced a few changes in CS:GO. The developers updated the map pool of tournament maps, removing Train and adding Ancient. This is the first change to the competitive map pool since March 2019, when they removed Cache and replaced it with Vertigo.
Valve clarified that Train will still be in the pool of competitive maps at the next RMR tournament.
Furthermore, Operation Broken Fang has come to an end, a new Snakebite has been added, and much more. The full list of updates is available below.
Operation "Broken Fang"
— Operation Broken Fang has come to an end. Players with unspent stars can get their rewards until May 15.
— New CS:GO 360 Stats was introduced to the players, which collects game stats for those who want to continue to collect statistics for competitive matches and Wingman games.
— Retakes has been moved to the new Wargames section.
— New «Snakebite» case.
Miscellaneous
— Chicken models have received a visual upgrade.
— Fixed community maps where some structures seemed black due to recent security updates.
— The "\" key can again be tied to some commands. If you have used it before, you will need to re-bind it.
— Additional updates related to the security and stability of the game.
— Added an option for large community maps to fade the Boost Player Contrast feature beyond the far-Z fog plane by setting fadeplayervisibilityfarz to ‘true’ in info_map_parameters.
Maps
— Ancient replaced Train in the competitive map pool.
— Grind and Mocha have been added to official matchmaking in Scrimmage, Casual, and Deathmatch game modes, replacing Apollo, Engage, and Anubis.
— Calavera and Pitstop have been added to official matchmaking in Wingman game mode, replacing Elysion and Guard.

— Widened T entrance to left side of mid
