ESL Pro League S7 EU: victory over AGO

A good execution, and we take 6 points!

The next series of NAVI.GG.BET at ESL Pro League S7 EU was against AGO Esports. Both maps were taken by Natus Vincere, as we claim 6 more points! The first map was de_overpass, while the second - de_mirage.

Game 1 - Natus Vincere [1:0] Ago Esports

The pistols, alongside the next few rounds, were taken by Natus Vincere, as we got a head start on the first half, yet our economy was not at its highest. Still, we've managed to reach 5:0 with a clean execution, and only at that point did AGO got their first point on board.

Despite, that did not allow the opponents to get far ahead, trading the rounds if possible. The economies of both teams were not in their top shapes, and AGO managed to cover most of their disadvantage. Still, NAVI were the first to take 8 rounds, and the first round was finished with the smallest difference possible - 8:7.

The second half started just like the previous one, as we picked up another streak of rounds, making the difference rather significant again. NAVI were playing rather well - even if we committed some mistakes, we were feeling quite comfortable regardless. AGO were not yet ready to give up on this game, as they picked up a couple of points, almost overextending. Even though it was hard to close out the game, Natus Vincere claimed first the match point, and then the game - 1:0.

Game 2 - Natus Vincere [2:0] AGO Gaming

The pistols were taken by AGO very swiftly, alongside 2 more rounds. Even the buy round was not able to get us on the board, as we kept falling behind. The score was 5 to nothing quite soon, and that was when NAVI got the first point on board, yet did not capitalize on it, as the next round reset us right back.

That put us in a rather tough position economically, but not tough enough to prevent us from grabbing a second point soon after, score being 2:7. The opponents broke the 8-round mark soon after, but NAVI were keen on not letting the advantage get out of hand.

We managed to wake up fully in the second half, seizing the advantage and carrying the momentum for a few rounds straight. A round taken by the CT side only improved their position slightly, as NAVI continued to dominate the second half. A couple points slipped by, upsetting our economy a bit, but NAVI secured 14 points, coming very close to match point, ultimately taking it. The last round saw a clutch 1v1, and we pull off a victory on the second map! 6 points for us today.
