Meet Cloud
Kirill "Cloud" Nekhozhin — NAVI's newcomer
On June 18, NAVI esports Club the launch of a division in the Valorant discipline. Today we will get acquainted with the first member of the team - Kirill "Cloud" Nehozhin.
Kirill is a 17-year-old player and already an experienced athlete. The fact is that Valorant is Cloud's second discipline. Since 2018 he has been playing Warface at the professional level.
I was introduced to esports by my brother, for which I want to say a huge thank you because he helped me to find something that makes me improve and compete to this day. I decided to devote all my time to esports when I earned my first big payout at the age of 14, about $ 6000.
I used to have plans to go to university, but now every day I realize more and more that it will be a burden to my career, so for now I'm thinking about what to do next.
After winning the second WSI season, the first places at the OpenCup XV, Fast Cup 7, K.I.W.I: Challenge League, as well as many podiums at other competitions Kirill believed in his abilities, and now he is trying to break into a new promising discipline — Valorant.
Admittedly, the decision was not made immediately. For some time Cloud played both Warface and Valorant, trying to figure out where he sees his future. So, Kirill played several tournaments as a stand-in in the Worst Players mix.
The first serious Valorant organization that Cloud was part of was CrowCrowd: interestingly enough, Kirill originally joined the team as a professional player in Warface, but at the same time he played in Riot Games championships.
The official announcement was made in February 2021: a little earlier Cloud announced that he was joining a pack of strong players and moving to a new discipline.
The team played quite well and even managed to put up a fight against the strongest representatives of the region, but in the end, it did not last long. In April, the former teammates separated into different mixes.
It was already evident at the first LAN that the game is a direct competitor to CS:GO, and maybe even began to overshadow it.
I didn't set any minimum or maximum goals — I always try to improve in this regard and be better than yesterday.
Now a new phase begins for Cloud's career, he will play under the banner of NAVI. We are sure that Kirill will please his fans with great results both on the local and international stage!
On June 28th starts the open qualification of the third stage of VALORANT Champions Tour 2021 for the CIS. Be sure to support Cloud in the qualifying matches! #navination
