ALGS YEAR 2

The developers of Apex Legends unveiled year two of ALGS, which includes a professional league and Challenger Circuit with a $ 5,000,000 prize pool. This is an updated format, which should be convenient for both professional players and new competitive players.

One of the main new features will be cross-platform. Now the competition is open for both desktop users, as well as the owners of consoles Xbox and PlayStation. However, in order to maintain the competitive component, console players will have to use PC aiming settings.

The total prize pool for the second year is $ 5,000,000. The developers plan to hold three offline events, during which the world champions will be revealed. More details about the format and schedule can be found below.

Preseason Qualifiers: September — October 2021.
Professional League Regular Season, Stage 1: October — December 2021.
Challenger Circuit, Stage 1: October — December 2021.
Professional League Qualifiers, Stage 2: January 2022.
Playoffs, Stage 1: January 2022.
Professional League Regular Season, Stage 2: February — March 2022.
Challenger Circuit, Stage 2: February — March 2022.
Playoffs, Stage 2: May 2022.
"Last Chance" Qualifiers: May 2022.
ALGS Championship, YEAR 2: June 2022.
