From the latest achievements of BIG it is worth mentioning the 7th-8th place at IEM Cologne 2021 where they got defeated by Virtus.pro in the playoffs. Over the summer break, it was announced that XANTARES left the squad, and gade took his place.

In the first match of , BIG defeated Evil Geniuses (2: 0), and in the second match, they lost to Fnatic (1: 2). NAVI, on the other hand, went undefeated, defeating mousesports and Fnatic. Both matches ended with a score of 2: 0.  

The last time NAVI and BIG met was at the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2021. The match ended 2-0 in favor of the Born to Win. For the last three months, the opponent has been best on Vertigo (10 wins, 3 losses), and worst on Mirage (4 wins and 8 losses). In the first two matches of the championship, the German team banned the Mirage.
