WePlay Academy League: Season 2 details
The tournament starts on September 28!
Tournament operator WePlay Esports shared the details about WePlay Academy League: Season 2. The season will run from September 28 to November 14 and will contain a prize pool of $100,000. Recall that NAVI Junior will play with
Egor "flamie" Vasiliev, who became a free agent on September 16. Also, after last season,
Sergey "pogor3lov" Pogorelov left the
NAVI youth squad.
Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov took his place in the roster.
Unlike in the first season, where all participants played each other, WePlay Academy League Season 2 group stage is divided into two groups with four teams in each group. The group stage will run from September 28 to October 5. The first place in each group guarantees a slot in the LAN-finals, and the second and third places will play in the Last Chance Group (October 7-9), where they will compete for the last two tickets to the offline stage, which will be held in Kyiv. The format of all matches is best of 3.
