Today, the NAVI PUBG team is heading to the main LAN tournament of the year — PUBG Global Championship 2021. It will be held in the Icheon, South Korea from November 19th to December 19th. Over the course of a month, 32 teams from all regions will compete for a prize pool of $ 2 000 000 + 30 % from all featured in-game item sales.
To avoid any surprises during such a long event, Maxim “HIBAKO” Carev will join
NAVI as a substitute player. Maxim will help the team if someone from the main roster has any health issues on one of the game days.
HIBAKO is an experienced player that has played in the pro scene since 2018. His most notable achievement is fourth place in the European draw of the PUBG Continental Series 4, for which team AlterAlt earned $ 20 000.

“When I received the offer to play in the PGC as the fifth player of the Natus Vincere, I accepted it without the slightest hesitation. It’s a unique chance to gain valuable experience. I am grateful to NAVI for this opportunity, root for us!”

“We are glad to have Maxim in our PGC lineup. We are sure that his skills, knowledge, and communication qualities will be useful for the team. HIBAKO is a nice guy who is a great fit!”
