PGC 2021: NAVI is in the grand final!
The Grand Final will take place on December 17-19
A few hours ago, the last week of the PUBG Global Championship 2021 Weekly Finals has concluded. As a result of these competitions, team NAVI has guaranteed itself a place in the Grand Final of the Championship! In this article, we summed up the performance of the Born to Win and explained what to expect from the final part of the tournament.
The start of PGC 2021 didn't turn out well for NAVI: our team was unable to make it to the finals of the first week and missed the important matches to gain qualification points. This unpleasant episode sparked decisive action. Entering Week 2 of Weekly Survival, NAVI earned a spot in Weekly Finals #2 from their first match. The scenario repeated itself during Weekly Survival #3: The Born to Win only needed to play one map to successfully advance to the Weekly Finals #3.
NAVI's main goal in the third week finals was to earn as many qualification points as possible to guarantee a direct entry to the PGC 2021 Grand Finals. And already after the first game day (thanks to two victories!), we could safely say that Born to Win is a finalist in the tournament!
It's worth noting that the guys were also aiming to win Weekly Finals #3. They had to face the Gen.G Esports for the chicken dinner. Alas, the South Korean squad was stronger, and NAVI finished the third week in second place. In the overall standings, our squad was in eighth place.

The Grand Final of the PUBG Global Championship 2021 will take place on December 17th-19th (game days begin at 11:00 CET) in the SUPER format. A total of 16 squads will play in the finals: four more squads will be announced at the end of the Grand Survival stage on December 16th. The total prize pool of the tournament is $ 2,000,000 + 30% from the sales of in-game items.
