Belgium will host the first major tournament in 2022

The final matches of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be held on May 19th-22nd

Details about the first CS:GO Major tournament in 2022 have been revealed. The Major will be held from May 9th to May 22nd in Antwerp (Belgium), hosted by the PGL tournament operator, just like the last time.

This will be the fifth in a row-major in Europe. Previously, London, Katowice, Berlin and Stockholm have hosted the most prestigious CS:GO championships. 

The final matches of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be held on May 19th-22nd at Sportpleis arena with a capacity of more than 18,000 people. The organizers plan to hold the championship with spectators in the stands. The prize pool of the competition is back to $1,000,000. Recall that the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 drew a sum twice as much.
