Changes to NAVI VALORANT roster

VALORANT / News / 17 May 2024 — 17:00

There have been some changes to NAVI VALORANT roster: Oliwer «LATEKS» Fahlander is now the team’s head coach, while Erik «Erik» Sandgren has left the active roster and is open to new offers.

Erik joined NAVI in November 2022, when the club first introduced its roster to compete in Riot’s franchise league. During his time with the team, we won the G-Loot VALORANT Clash tournament, took 3-4th at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo and 4th place at VCT 2023: EMEA League. Born to Win also performed at VALORANT Champions 2023 (9th-12th place).

We thank Erik for contributing to the club’s growth and wish him success in his future career. NAVI’s next tournament will be the second stage of VCT 2024: EMEA League, beginning in mid-June.

LATEKS ’ comment:

«I’m excited to start this new chapter of my career, and though it won't be easy, I will do my very best to live up to the expectations.

For this upcoming split, I want to find a way to reinvigorate ourselves while still minding what worked and did not work in the last split.

I’m convinced that with proper effort, we will secure our ticket to the championship.»
