NAVI will compete in the BLAST Slam VIII closed qualifier

NAVI have received an invitation to the closed qualifier for RES Unchained 5, where two spots at BLAST Slam VIII will be up for grabs. The qualifier matches will take place on August 29–30, with Summer Bear set to be Born to Win’s first opponent.

The qualifier will feature a Single Elimination bracket, with all matches played in a best-of-3 format. 4 teams have received direct invitations, while the remaining 4 teams were selected through the open qualifier.

There are only 2 spots up for grabs, meaning a team must win two matches in a row to secure a place at BLAST Slam VIII. As for the tournament itself, it will take place from September 29 to October 11 in both online and LAN formats. A prize pool of $ 750,000 will be on the line.
