Niku is one of the youngest participants in the history of The International!

The main tournament of the year — The International 2025 — hasn’t even started yet, and NAVI player Artyom "Niku" Bachkur has already made history! The now-former junior will become the youngest participant of the upcoming championship.

At the start of the event, Niku will be 16 years and 211 days old. This makes him the second-youngest player in The International history, just behind Syed Sumail "Suma1L" Hassan, who was 16 years and 165 days old at the beginning of The International 2015.

Let us remind you that NAVI Junior made it through the Western Europe qualifiers and secured a slot at The International 2025. Starting from July 1, 2025, the juniors will represent the main NAVI roster.

The International 2025 will take place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. Sixteen of the world's best teams will compete for a prize pool of at least $1,600,000.
