Esports World Cup 2024: First Group Stage
At the same time as our PUBG team, today, NAVI Tekken 8 players Alexandre «AK» Laverez and Mu-jung «kkokkoma» Kim will begin their journey at the Esports World Cup 2024. The prize pool for the discipline is $1,000,000.
In the first stage, 32 players will be divided into eight groups of four and play all their matches against each other today. The two best players from each group will advance to the second group stage, which will take place on August 22-23.
Following the draw, kkokkoma faces one of the most difficult sets of contenders in Group B: his opening match at 17:45 CET will be against Ashes Gaming’s THE JON. AK will only enter the tournament at 22:00 CET - his first challenge will be THY esports’ Chikurin.
