IEM Katowice 2023: Quarterfinals vs Outsiders

Born to Win will face Outsiders in the first quarterfinal of IEM Katowice 2023. The best of 3 match kicks off at 15:30.

The victory in the first two games over Cloud9 (2 : 0) and Liquid (2 : 0) secured our team a place in the playoffs. Regardless, we had to fight for first place in Group A against G2, who remains the "kryptonite" for the whole CS:GO scene. This team has won 17 consecutive maps in LAN events and holds the top spot in the HLTV rankings.

Outsiders had a much harder time getting into the playoffs. After losing the first match against fnatic (1 : 2) the team went into the Lower Bracket right away. The first to come were NIP, who after the new changes had not yet found their game (2 : 1). Then they were lucky to meet the OG-five who played with the substitutions due to the illness of Shahar "flameZ" Shushan (2 : 0). The final test was Complexity, who were still far from the top echelon (2 : 1).

The winner of today's match will face Heroic in the semifinals on Saturday at 15:30.
