IEM Katowice: semifinals vs Heroic

After the quarterfinal match Natus Vincere made it to the top 4. Today at 15:30 our team will battle it out against Heroic for the chance to reach the finals of the competition.

The match against Outsiders was under NAVI's control. Althought the selected maps were comfortable for both teams, the individual level of our players was better – 16 : 13 Overpass, 16 : 12 Inferno.

The Heroic team reached the semifinals based on the results of Group B. The Danes started the tournament shaky, struggling against Complexity (16 : 11 Inferno, 13 : 16 Vertigo, 16 : 8 Overpass), but eventually gained their shape during the tournament and finished the matches against OG (16 : 10 Inferno, 16 : 12 Mirage) and Vitality (16 : 7 Inferno, 16 : 4 Overpass) without any difficulties.

Natus Vincere has a very positive history of meetings with Heroic. Last year the teams met five times and only at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR A the Danish team prevailed. Despite the statistics, it is difficult to call today's opponent passable, as almost every meeting between the teams takes place on three maps.
