NAVI Javelins made it to the World Esports Championship 2022
After beating Team IESF, which includes three players from Nigma Galaxy Female, with a score of 2 : 0 in the final of the European Qualifiers, NAVI Javelins earned a slot in the World Esports Championship 2022 LAN tournament. It will be held from December 6th to 8th in Bali, Indonesia. Four teams will compete for $50,000.
The Javelins have come a long way to make it into the tournament. The first stage was the regional qualifiers for women's CS:GO teams from Poland. The matches were played on September 4th. Natus Vincere first beat Elements (16: 0) without a chance, and in the finals, they easily defeated Entropiq Queens (2 : 0).
Having become the best women's team in Poland, NAVI Javelins continued their performance on September 12th in the European qualifiers. To reach the final stage, you had to reach the top 4. The Javelins remained undefeated in these qualifiers, beating Israel (16 : 2), France (16 : 11), the Netherlands (16 : 0), and Team IESF (16 : 9).
In the final stage, the first rival for NAVI Javelins was again the Dutch women's national team. Like a few days before, this match ended with a confident victory for our team. In the upper bracket final, as well as later in the Grand Final, Natus Vincere played against Team IESF. The matches ended with no big surprises: the Javelins proved to be stronger again.
Congratulations to the NAVI CS:GO women's team on their excellent performance in the qualifiers and good luck in the competition in Bali!
The next match for NAVI Javelins will take place on September 23rd as part of the ESL Impact League Season 2 tournament. The opponent is BIG EQUIPA.
