NAVI Javelins: results of the year

The Polish roster Totalne Gituwy has turned into NAVI only in April of this year. During this time, the girls were able to show their strength in many tournaments and take a well-deserved place at the top of the female CS:GO scene. Today we will take a look at their successes and failures over 2022.

The path of our Polish team began with an important fight for a slot at the LAN tournament in Dallas. Unfortunately, in that match, the girls failed to outplay the future BIG Equipa squad (1 : 2).

After such an unfortunate defeat, the team began their preparation for the next important competition - ESL Impact Valencia. After qualifying, the girls focused on gaining tournament experience, a strategy that brought them two wins at the ESL Impact Cash Cup.

In Spain, our roster landed into a very difficult group with the competition`s favorites Nigma Galaxy and BIG Equipa. The first game turned out to be a failure for NAVI Javelins - 13 : 16 on Dust 2 against BIG Equipa. In the knockout match, our players confidently defeated the outsider Mindfreak (2 : 0), and then at the decisive moment they took revenge on their arch-nemesis BIG (2 : 0). In the semi-finals, the Javelins finished their performance against FURIA Female (0 : 2): at the first LAN tournament our roster took 3rd-4th place and earned $ 10 000.

A month later, NAVI Javelins received an invitation to the ESL Impact League Season 2. In group B of the European Division, the girls demonstrated their high level, finishing this stage with a stat of 6-0. However, after advancing to the playoffs, the roster again stopped one step away from the LAN tournament, losing to NOFEAR5 (1 : 2).

In the spring, our players went to Spain for the second time for the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival: Ceuta. At this tournament, NAVI Javelins also performed well and reached the finals, but had no chance against Nigma Galaxy in the best-of-5 match (0 : 3).

The last important and symbolic test for our roster was the qualifier for the ESL Impact Katowice 2023 - a home tournament with a prize pool of $100 000, which will be held from February 10th to 12th parallel to the men's IEM Katowice 2023. The girls easily passed the qualifiers, outplaying 9 Pandas Fe in the final (2 : 0), so expect to see NAVI Javelins at the first women's LAN of the next year!
