NAVI — PGL Major Copenhagen champions

NAVI CS2 team became the winners of PGL Major Copenhagen. In the grand final of their record sixth major, Born to Win destroyed FaZe Clan with a 2 : 1 score.

Our team began its journey in the Elimination Stage: in their debut, Born to Win overcame The Mongolz on Mirage (13 : 10).

The second best of 1 was against G2. The opponent was in the lead throughout the second part of Nuke, but NAVI came back and closed the map in their favour (13:11).

With a perfect 2 : 0 win rate, Born to Win began their bad streak: in the best of 3 matches against Spirit and Cloud9, our team played competitively on the first two maps, and even took back their pick, but lost to their opponents in the decisive round.

For the last match of the Elimination Stage, NAVI had no room for error. The team gathered for the game against paiN and shut down the dark horse Brazilian team (2 : 0)

The successful record of previous meetings against Eternal Fire inspired hope for the quarterfinal bout, and NAVI confirmed their strength by defeating the Turks (2 : 0).

In the tournament semifinals against G2, Born to Win took Anubis (16 : 13), but the opponent successfully prepared for Nuke and levelled the score (7 : 13). At the decisive Ancient, NAVI were able to close the match in their favour (13 : 11).

In the final against FaZe Born to Win took Ancient (13 : 9), but the opponent read NAVI's Mirage selection (13 : 2). Despite this result, NAVI gathered their strength and won the PGL Major Copenhagen trophy on Inferno (2 : 1).

In their first major tournament after signing three European CS2 players, NAVI took the top place and $500,000. NAVI’s next tournament will be ESL Pro League S19, which will be held from April 23 to May 12 in Malta.
