Red Bull Golden Letters 2024: Silver for AK

Alexander “AK” Laveres finished his performance at the LAN tournament Red Bull Golden Letters 2024 held in London, UK. The NAVI player showed great play throughout the championship and finished in 2nd place.

The competition was held in two stages: group and playoffs. According to the results of the group AK took the 2nd place with 3 victories in his asset and passed to the upper bracket of the playoffs.

In the first match of the final stage AKdefeated Nino (3 : 2), and then lost to Ulsan (2 : 3) and ended up in the lower bracket. First AK outplayed Jodd, scoring 3 special points for “Perfect” and “Great”, and then took revenge on Kaneandtrench for the defeat in the group.

AK's opponent in the final of the lower bracket was CBM: his Jin, although giving a lot of trouble to NAVI player, was defeated with the score 3 : 0. In the title match AK faced Ulsan again: the match was even more entertaining than the first one!

The victory was celebrated by the opponent, who again turned out to be a bit stronger. Recall that not so long ago the rivals played in the finals of Ultimate Fighting Arena 2024, where Ulsan came out triumphant.
