First NAVI VALORANT match: how it went
On February 22nd, NAVI VALORANT played their first match at the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The opening match turned out to be outstanding and undeniably memorable. In this material, we talk about all the main events related to the last match and the championship.
All competition matches are hosted at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera sports complex, which can accommodate up to 11,000 spectators. Riot Games has thoroughly prepared for the tournament, turning the arena into a very spectacular and atmospheric place. Being a participant in ongoing events, both as a player and as a spectator is equally great!

The developers paid particular attention to the presentation of all the tournament`s participants, for which a high-tech studio was built. NAVI got a very fancy and stylish presentation, which everyone who missed it for some reason, should definitely see.
As for the match itself, NAVI`s rival was KRÜ Esports. This team represents South America and has two players from Brazil in its roster, so it was a real challenge to at least simply withstand the crazy support from local fans.

Our guys accepted the challenge entrusted to them with maximum dignity. So, the first map namely Ascent went without any problems: NAVI players finished it with a score of 13 : 5.
But the guys failed to take the initiative on the first half of the Lotus map: the opponent, thanks to the incredible support from the local fans, played it incredibly well - 3 : 9. It seemed that the third map was just around the corner, but ANGE1 and Zyppan categorically disagreed with this: the boys showed an excellent level of play and made an incredible comeback — 13 : 10!

Fans could watch the match on SoMarcus`s stream, NAVI`s newest content creator. Be sure to stop by his broadcasts during the next match with the participation of our team!
Support of NAVI's fans was felt not only online, but also at our Watch Party in Warsaw. The guests cheered for the team and also participated in many interesting giveaways and quizzes, where they could win memorable prizes.
Watch Party prizes
One of the main achievements of the match is not only a beautiful victory with a score of 2: 0, but also the number of viewers that NAVI gathered to watch the game! We are sure that this is only the beginning for Natus Vincere!
"Today's NAVI match in Valorant gathered more viewers at the peak (450 thousand) than ALL @natusvincere matches in #DOTA2 except for the match against Mineski in The International в 2019 playoffs (1 mln+ viewers)."

The next match of NAVI at the tournament will take place on February 25th at 18:00: the opponent will be Team Secret. We are waiting for all #navination fans to support the team!
