VCT 2023: EMEA League: vs Liquid

The day is here! In the semifinals of the VCT EMEA League top draw, Born to Win will face Liquid for a place in the VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo LAN tournament. The match will start at 20:00 and will be played in a best of 3 format.

Our team went straight into the semi-finals, finishing the group stage with a 7-2 statistic. In the first match of the season NAVI lost to KOI Esports (0 : 2), who didn't make the play-offs, and also lost in a match against the main favourites Fnatic (0 : 2).

The path of the Liquid was much more difficult, as the battle for their place in the play-offs went on right up until the last round. The team finished the group at 6-3 and finished third, advancing to the quarterfinals of the top flight, where they beat Team Vitality (2 : 1) yesterday.

NAVI and Liquid met in the regular season most recently in a crucial match for second place in the standings. Then, in a tense struggle on two maps, Born to Win was stronger (Fracture 13 : 11, Bind 13 : 11).
