DreamLeague Season 10: victory over Vega Squadron

NAVI.GG.BET fought with 
Vega Squadron in a Bo3 in the lower bracket at DreamLeague Season 10. The games were rather tense, but ultimately, NAVI take the series 2:0.

The first game started off not too well for NAVI. Vega were able to establish a good lead, partially thanks to the aggression shown by Gyrocopter+Io. Nonetheless, our lanes were still going decently, as we were finding some farm. The trouble was the early fighting - Vega were very confident, and they were taking fight after fight, establish a decent lead.
20 minutes in, though, NAVI went for a good fight - Vega lost most of the heroes. From there onwards, NAVI established a firm presence on the map, getting many good fights. Ultimately, after a series of fights, NAVI were able to get the T3 in the midlane, and disengaged after losing a couple of heroes. As we couldn't get back onto the high ground, we regrouped and claimed Roshan, Aegis for TA and Cheese for Clinkz. With that advantage, NAVI went on the offensive, and a very long fight broke out in the midlane - Vega got completely wiped, which gave us the opportunity to take the mid rax and the bottom lane.
Vega were unable to have good fights, as our damage was very high, together with the disabled healing by Spirit Vessel. Fight after fight, NAVI were increasing the advantage constantly. Vega went for a smoke play to either find someone from NAVI alone, or establish some control around the Roshpit. However, that control didn't actually do much, as NAVI were able to end the game a lot sooner than the next Roshan spawned. A fight in the Dire base spelled the end for Vega, as they had nothing to defend - GG.

The First Blood was drawn 2 minutes in, as Chuvash died in the bottom lane. The opponent claimed a few more kills, one even being on our Terrorblade, which hurt his farm a bit. It took us quite a while to find our first couple of kills. That helped NAVI to find a better footing in the game - 3 of our heroes were still in the bottom 5 in terms of levels, but overall, we were still faring rather well. By 10 minutes, Vega was sitting on less than 1k gold advantage, and no towers were taken for either team.
11 minutes in NAVI had a decent fight, catching Io-Gyrocopter after a Relocate - Supernova helped out a lot, as we score 2 important kills. Unfortunately, a couple of minutes later NAVI engaged in a fight - even though Gyro-Io died again, we lost 4 heroes. The advantage was still minimal for Vega, as they were around 1k ahead. This was a rather short-lived advantage, though, as 2 kills swung the advantage back our way. 21 minutes in Vega attempted to defend the T2, which proved to be a fatal mistake - 4 heroes dead on the side of Vega, and the Metamorphosis on Terrorblade was still up - bottom T3 falls, just as the barracks.
25 minutes in NAVI went for the first Roshan of the game, successfully taking the first Aegis for Storm Spirit. A pickoff on Zeus allowed NAVI to try and take mid T3, but the defense was still solid thanks to Gyrocopter. However, NAVI were trying very hard to get kills behind the towers, which was really not going our way, as by 28 minutes, NAVI lost 4 heroes. After that, we settled down a bit, and Vega decided to re-engage, which didn't end well for them. Storm Spirit was sitting on 20 Bloodstone charges, and was able to pressure the opponent everywhere.
34 minutes in NAVI tried to get the Roshan, but Vega knew we're trying for it, so we chose to smoke up and meet Vega - 2 supports fall on the Dire side. We claimed that Roshan only 3 minutes later, but right after, we found a good engagement, and followed up with the fight in the base. 3 players died on the side of Vega, as MagicaL jumped onto Dendi straight away, and 3 cores of the opponent had no buybacks, and nothing to defend with - we take the game and the series.
