Dmitry took the first steps into the competitive PUBG only in the middle of 2018. At the start of his career, he represented the Tornado Energy Storm, which was noted for its fairly confident performances at online championships. Within the CIS division, squad often competed even with recognized leaders, but, generally, remained outside of the podium and fall short of prizes.
In spite of this, Recrent received his first valuable experience in the Tornado Energy Storm: he played in the closed qualification of PUBG Global Invitational 2018 and the qualifying round for Global Loot League Season 3 for the CIS and Turkey. But the main achievement of the quartet is the 3rd place in the championship called Polaris Series 2018, where 
Team Liquid also took part. As a reward, the team received about $ 8,500.
In a short time, Dmitry overcame a very impressive distance side by side with the «yellow-blacks». He defended the colors of our club in and OGA Pit Invitational Season 3 — these tournaments became a kind of training ground for the updated quartet and helped the players to reach an understanding.

Recrent himself stood out from the rivals with very accurate shooting and hit the top 3 players who got the highest number of kills for the entire championship.
Dmitri's performances in duos deserve a special mention: along with BatulinS, they stormed through GLL Wingman V. The guys had a great qualifying matches, the main stage fights and they well-prepared for the . NAVI DUO ranked second in the overall ranking and received an award of $ 5,000, and also became the champion of the tournament called «Chronicles of Predatory Cities — a Battle of Sixty Minutes».
— Tell us a little about your gaming experience before NAVI. How did you get to know the gaming industry in general and PUBG in particular?
Dmitry "Recrent" Osintsev«Since childhood, I play all sorts of shooters. I tried myself in the competitive Overwatch, after which I moved to PUBG in July 2017, where I immediately began to participate in various duo tournaments. In November, my friend Ubica- and I were invited to the team, which later became the Tornado Energy Storm.»
