GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational

From April 8 to April 13, the GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational will be held, NAVI.GG.BET is one of the participants.

In total, 8 teams from Europe and the CIS will take part in the championship: in addition to the “yellow-black”,   Alliance,  Gambit Esports,  Team Empire,  Old but Gold,  The Pango, and  The Final Tribe.  The last participant will be determined by the open qualifiers.

The tournament is divided into two phases: groups and playoffs. According to the results of the group stage, four teams will continue their run in the playoffs. The first matches in the groups will be held in the format of best of 1, the grand final — best of 5, all other matches in the championship — best of 3.

It is noteworthy that the prize fund of the entire tournament is $ 5,000, but it will go to the team, which will take second place. The winner will receive a ticket to the ESL One Birmingham 2019. It will be held from May 28 to June 2 in Birmingham, and the prize pool will be $ 300,000.

Tournament format

— 8 teams divided into two groups of 4 participants each;
— groups format — GSL (Double Elimination), playoff format — Single Elimination;
— 2 best teams of each group enter the playoffs;
— all championship matches — best Of 3, the exception is the first group matches (best of 1) and the grand final (best of 5).
