NAVI.Dota 2 roster changes
9pasha joins Natus Vincere
Natus Vincere esports club presented the updated Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season. Former Virtus.pro player Pavel «9pasha» Khvastunov joined the team and replaced Evgeniy «Blizzy» Ree on the offlane position.
Evgeniy still has a valid contract with the club. He will be taking a short vacation, and then will consider options for further career development.
We thank Blizzy for his contribution to the growth of Natus Vincere: it was in many ways thanks to him that the team managed to qualify for The International 2019.
We also would like to welcome 9pasha to the ranks of the «yellow-black» — we are sure that his wide experience in the competitive Dota 2 will help unlock the potential of the team’s young players.
Even before TI we decided that we need to keep the backbone of the team and I am very glad that, despite the high interest in NAVI players from other clubs, we managed to do so.
The only change in the roster has nothing to do with Blizzy’s level of play — it is the desire not to miss on the opportunity and strengthen ourselves with the super-experienced player who possesses the human qualities that are so lacking in our young team.
I am pleased to welcome Pasha in NAVI and sincerely want to thank Evgeniy for this season and the numerous Pogchamp moments he has given us.
