neLo on team dynamics changes and Season 10 Finals
neLo talks about the potential favorites, team dynamics changes, and LAN plans
interviewed Natus Vincere Rainbow Six: Siege player, Leon "neLo" Pesić, talking about the changing team dynamics and expectations before the LAN event. Have a look!
On the recent change — Pie replacing Doki
The team dynamics have definitely changed. Doki was a player with a unique lifestyle nobody can try to replicate. So we did all we could to make sure Pie integrates into the team fast and seamlessly. We talked, we swapped some roles, made some adjustments in terms of playing. Before the 4 concluding days, we've decided to improvise, because we were sure we could do it — and we did.
Success at Pro League Season 10
We were a fresh new team coming into the League. All we had was the desire to improve, and lots of grinding behind our backs. Natus Vincere signed us up and provided us with an opportunity to gather for bootcamps, and that contributed to our success too. Still, we have a lot to learn.
LAN expectations
We are surely intending to get this trophy, and we will do our best to make the victory in Japan happen. Playing against an APAC team, Wildcard Gaming, is definitely going to be interesting, as this is a first for us. At the end of the day, though, it's all the same to us — if we want to win the championship, we need to be able to defeat all, be it Ninjas in Pyjamas, or Team Reciprocity, or anyone else.
The favorites
On the other side of the bracket, Aerowolf could pull off a surprise, and so can DarkZero if FaZe Clan will play without the main roster. I think Giants Gaming has the potential to get the trophy — I would say FaZe, but they are struggling with visas, so my bet is on Giants. That is, after us.
