Changes in NAVI.Dota 2 roster
Natus Vincere esports club announces changes in the Dota 2 roster: Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich joined the team for the trial term and will replace Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya. NAVI COO Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov commented on the reasons for the replacement.
So bad first showed his worth back in 2017 as a part of The Brestomans. He was later invited to Vega Squadron: the team took third place in The International 2019 regional qualifier, finishing in the group stage with 7–0 stats.
The updated NAVI roster will perform at ESL One Birmingham 2020, an online tournament, which will be held from May 24 to June 7. #navination
"First, we want to thank Semion for his response to the call for help in a difficult situation and for doing it in the best way possible, qualifying with the team for LA Major.
However, during this period we were unable to set up effective communication in the current roster, which is by far more difficult to do online with no bootcamps. Expectedly, the fans and the club itself wanted great results, so we went ahead and spoke to the team, which led to the decision to make changes in the roster. The date shift of The International and the tournament ecosystem gives a perfect opportunity to test new players and the synergy amongst them.
In the meantime, we are pleased to announce we're starting work with Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich. He had proved himself as a good leader in Vega Squadron, participating in the preparations, the drafts, and in coordinating the game. The next weeks will be a test period both for Vitaliy and for this roster.
We are seeking the ultimate solution to the current situation. We are working on possible options in the upcoming months, and for now we truly hope that our fans will express support and understanding."
