Halo Championship Series 2021: NAVI's Results at the First Major Tournament
A worthy performance from our team!
Last night marked the end of the first Halo Infinite Major tournament. Team NAVI finished in 7th-8th place and was the best team from outside the US.
Thirty-two teams competed for the $250,000 prize pool, with half of them making it to the main stage through the Open Bracket. NAVI, in turn, started immediately from the Pool Play stage with four groups to determine the participants of the first and second rounds of the Champions Bracket.
Thus, in Pool Play, Born to Win played against three teams. Divine Mind was defeated with a score of 3 : 0, but in the matches against G2 Esports and FaZe Clan we didn’t come out on top, although the NAVI players have performed on a promising level.
As a result, the guys started in the upper bracket of the first Champions Bracket, where they defeated FootFungas792 (3 : 0) without major problems. In the lower bracket, Spacestation Gaming was waiting for NAVI and turned out to be stronger (1 : 3).
NAVI players were aroused by the losses and knocked WarZ (3 : 0), The Guard (3 : 2) and Quadrant (3 : 2) out of the tournament one by one. They went into the rematch against FaZe Clan with the aim to improve an already solid result but they couldn’t beat them in the second try either - 0 : 3.
Top8 finish not happy but proud of the team; was in some serious pits and pulled together.

No where near hit our potential but time to prep for what’s next on the horizon
That’s our event over, finished top 8. So many close series, that we just couldn’t close out. GGs all, this event has been amazing!

NAVI finished 7th-8th and won $ 5 600, becoming the best professional team from outside the USA. This is a great result, taking into account the traditionally high-level performances of American teams.
We are sure that this is just the beginning! There are many more tournaments, where our guys will show their best qualities! Keep supporting NAVI! #ObsessedWe
