Changes in NAVI VALORANT

Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev has joined the team

On July 16, esports club NAVI and signed players from the team No Pressure. At that time, guys showed a solid game in the CIS region: they took the second place at VСT 2021: Challengers 1, securing a slot in the playoff stage for the EMEA region. The tournament offered invitations to the Masters Berlin with $ 150 000 prize pool.

In the first match, NAVI VALORANT had a dramatic victory over Team Liquid. But then the team faltered, losing two games and dropping out of the tournament. In October and November, the Born to Win played with mixed results but, alas, with no major victories.

Today we say goodbye to the team captain Vladyslav "arch" Svistov. During his time with NAVI, Vlad proved to be a strong leader; his decisions in the rounds and his view of the game often led the Born to Win to victories. Our appreciation goes to arch for his professionalism and contribution to the roster. However, it became clear in the process of improving the performance that the roster couldn’t continue in its present state and required a change.

Arch’s place will be taken by Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev, a talented player who played for Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2021. Since then, NiP has finished twice in the top of the VCT 2021 Europe Challengers, second place at Red Bull Home Ground and top-6 of the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters.

We’re sure this change will help NAVI VALORANT refresh and take a new look at the game. Support us in 2022 at the official Riot Games tournaments.
