m0NESY transfers to G2 Esports

Natus Vincere and G2 Esports have agreed on a transfer of the former NAVI Junior player Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. Both parties agreed on a reinsurance, that if m0NESY will decide to leave G2 or will be excluded from their active roster, NAVI will be prioritized to make the player a transfer offer.

m0NESY joined the NAVI CS:GO Academy on January 7, 2020 and was promoted within NAVI Youth before he advanced to the NAVI Junior roster in October. His greatest achievements are: runner up at the LAN-finals of WePlay Academy League Season 2 and the fifth place in WePlay Academy League Season 1

In the NAVI Junior, m0NESY has steadily demonstrated a solid game: according to HLTV.org statistics, his rating in 2021 was 1.36. From now, Ilya will write a new chapter in his career. We thank him for his contribution to the development of the club and wish him good luck with G2 Esports. #ObsessedWe

Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili
NAVI Junior coach

“It's a very bittersweet feeling for me. Our student Ilya m0nesy goes to G2. I am very glad that our academy player will continue his career in such a big club. It shows that we are on the right track, and our academy trains world-class players.

On the other hand it's sad that our player leaves to another team. Those two years were truly magical. We learned, had fun, worked and experienced defeat together. Sometimes we argued, but in the end we always reached a consensus. We rejoiced together over our first successes and victories. All this allowed us to become not just teammates, but real friends.

I know that in the future you will be one of the best players in the world. I sincerely wish you to reach all your goals. I'm not saying goodbye to you, as I'll follow your progress.

And our journey doesn't end here. We'll continue to work with NAVI Junior to raise new champions."

Former NAVI Junior player

"Last year was extremely productive for our region and for me. I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support. It helped me a lot all the way to NAVI Junior.

Thanks to Amiran for the valuable experience. His skills and professional knowledge will definitely help me in my future career.

How could it be without my favorite teammates? During this time, we've become good friends. And I had a chance to play with Egor flamie!

It was the best time. Thanks a lot to the NAVI media department, the manager and everybody who was with me in 2021.

See you on the battlefield."
