NAVI came second at Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII — Cologne

The biggest CS:GO championship of July, Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII - Cologne, came to an end. NAVI took second place, losing to FaZe Clan 2:3 in the finals. The team won $180,000for their performance.

The draw put the Born to Win in group A with MOUZ, Heroic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, Movistar Riders, Team Vitality and ENCE. NAVI defeated MOUZ (2 : 1) in the first round of the upper bracket. Next, the Born to Win outplayed Ninjas in Pyjamas 2 : 0. In total, NAVI lost only 10 rounds on two maps (Overpass - 16 : 3, Nuke - 16 : 7).

NAVI defeated Movistar Riders (2 : 1) in the match for direct passage to the semifinals. In the playoffs, NAVI played against Astralis. The Born to Win overcame their opponent and advanced to the finals, and the match on the second map ended in overtime (Nuke - 16 : 8, Mirage - 19 : 17).
