New NAVI Counter-Strike 2 roster
NAVI and Sprout esports clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of Ihor «w0nderful» Zhdanov. The eighteen-year-old sniper will take the place of Oleksandr «s1mple» Kostyliev on the CS2 team. s1mple has been inactive since October 26.
w0nderful's main achievements are victory at the FiReLEAGUE 2022 tournament with a $150,000 prize pool and 5th-8th place at the IEM Rio Major 2022. He has had 407 maps with a 1.22 rating.
The upcoming tournaments for the updated NAVI CS2 roster are BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 (November 22-26) and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 (December 13-17). Before the competition begins, the team will gather at a Barcelona bootcamp, where, in addition to training, they will also work with NAVI's new performance coach, Urszula «Xirreth» Klimczak.
Ihor «w0nderful» Zhdanov:
“I'm excited to join such a legendary organization as NAVI! It was my biggest dream ever since I started playing CS. It's obvious, right? I know that it's hard to fully replace a player of s1mple's caliber and fulfill everyone's expectations, but trust me, I'll do everything in my power!
Shout out to all the fans and friends who support me, and huge thanks to Natus Vincere for giving me this life-changing opportunity to step onto the big stage alongside my favorite team!”
