Meet Laise!

Vladislav "Laise" Lais joined the NAVI Dota 2 team on February 23rd. He is the new offlaner as he replaced Victor "GeneRaL" Nigrini. Let's learn more about the freshman in our esports club!

Vladislav was born on October 15th, 2000 in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Laise was first introduced to Dota 2 in 2012 but started playing firmly later, in 2016.

In the same year, Vladislav made his first attempts to conquer the professional scene. He was performing in various mixes. For the longest time, Laise stayed in Puzzle and Team Caspium - he played about 100 matches for these teams.

In 2019-2020, he achieved his first serious results in the professional Dota 2 scene. Among Laise's achievements are fourth place at UESF Ukrainian Championship 2019 and Epic Origins League Season 1, Time of Bet Dota 2 Cup silver and Glory of the Summer bronze. The player was interested in the V-Gaming organization, which he joined at the end of 2020.

The first test for Laise was the ESL One CIS Online Season 1 qualifiers. V-Gaming did not manage to pass the qualifiers. At the same time, the team showed a good game at the Dota 2 Champions League and in the third season became the champion.

The consistency of the roster and confident performance in small tournaments led to the success at Dota Pro Circuit.  V-Gaming made it to the second regional division in the 2021/2022 season and even had every chance to be promoted, but failed to show their best game in the playoffs and ended up taking only fourth place.

As for Laise's playing features, he is ranked 231st on the leaderboard. On the professional scene, the player has the most matches for the Mars hero - 83 games with a KDA of 4.2. Next comes Pangolier, Tidehunter, Centaur Warrunner, Timbersaw and Night Stalker, the number of games with each character ranges from 26 to 30, with KDA of all characters above 4.
