Dota 2 x Monster Hunter crossover

The company Valve has released a new Dota 2 update that added an event dedicated to the crossover with the famous video game series from Capcom – Monster Hunter. Huge dragons have visited the game map, and players need to craft in-game cosmetic items as part of the collaboration.

The main feature of the event is six new armor sets that recreate classic armor kits from Monster Hunter. Each base set is completely free and available for all players to craft. To obtain them, players only need to gather the necessary materials by participating in the new in-game activity — Hero Hunt.

The cosmetic novelties also include charming companions:

• Palico Courier: A loyal feline companion for whom you can craft various outfits.

• Poogie Pet (Poogie): An affectionate creature that will await your return to base, and for which outfits are also provided.

To track progress and delve into the lore, the developers have added the "Atlas of Heroes". This new element not only monitors your achievements but also supplements the heroes' stories with testimonials collected by Mila — Axe's personal chronicler.

The Expedition Pack is also available for purchase. Its owners receive exclusive items: special monster skins from Monster Hunter — Rathalos for Dragon Knight and Bulldango for Beastmaster; a thematic music pack, a collection of seasonal graffiti, and a heap of materials to speed up crafting. Alternative versions of the six sets with special visual effects, as well as additional outfits for Palico and Poogie.

The event will only be available for three months (until February 6, 2026), so quickly enter the game and rush to the hunt!
