DarkAngel advances to the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs

The NAVI Fatal Fury player secured two victories in the second group stage of the Esports World Cup 2026 and booked his place in the tournament playoffs! He defeated SCORE (GodLike) 3 : 1 in his opening match before overcoming Falcons representative Kindevu 3 : 2 in the deciding series.

DarkAngel has already secured at least 200 EWC Club Championship points for the Born to Win and earned $ 37,500 in prize money. Congratulations on a great performance, and good luck in the upcoming matches!

The Esports World Cup 2026 Fatal Fury playoffs will take place on July 11, with the matches starting at 15:00 CEST. The tournament’s eight best players will compete in a Single Elimination bracket, with all series played in a First to 5 format.

Last year, DarkAngel finished in third place. Meanwhile, the previous tournament’s champion and runner-up, GO1 and Xiaohai respectively, have already been eliminated from the competition. Xiaohai failed to advance past the first group stage, while GO1 withdrew from today’s matches due to health issues.
