EWC 2026 Fatal Fury: Decisive Matches

The decisive matches of the Fatal Fury tournament at Esports World Cup 2026 will take place today. Only eight of the original 32 players remain in contention for the $250,000 first-place prize, 1,000 Club Championship points, and an invitation to the SWC 2026 Finals.

Among them is NAVI player Luis Guadalupe “DarkAngel” Castillo Gomez. Just three wins separate him from the title.

In his opening playoff match, which begins at 16:00 CEST and will be played in a First to 5 format, DarkAngel will face Reynald (Elite), who finished 13th–16th at last year’s tournament.

If he wins, the NAVI player will next face the winner of K-TOP versus Nemo. K-TOP made his EWC debut this year, while Nemo finished 13th–16th last season.

Predicting DarkAngel’s potential grand final opponent is far more difficult, as any of the four players on the other side of the bracket could reach the deciding match.
