EPL Season 16: starting match vs Team Spirit

On the first day of the ESL Pro League Season 16, NAVI CS:GO will play against Team Spirit. The match starts tomorrow at 12:30 CEST and will be played in a best of 3 series.

Recently, the teams have not faced each other. Team Spirit showed decent result at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 in May (3rd–4th place) but then had a slump in performance. “Dragons” placed 9–12th place at the tier-2-tournament Pinnacle Cup 4, and later lost at IEM Cologne 2022, with only one victory over Team Liquid. Note that this will be the first match for Team Spirit after the summer break.

Spirit recently had a change in the roster Abdul «degster» Gasanov left the team to join OG. His place was taken by the promising Ukrainian sniper Ihor «w0nderful» Zhdanov, who made his debut at the IEM Cologne 2022.
