IEM Beijing 2026: Third-place match

CS2 / Coverage / 8 November 2026 — 03:00

IEM Beijing 2026 is drawing to a close. Only two matches remain: MOUZ and The MongolZ will battle for the championship title, while NAVI and BB will face off for third place. The Born to Win will take on BB at 05:00 CET in a best-of-three series.

NAVI kicked off their playoff run with a victory over PV (2 : 1), but were unable to overcome The MongolZ in the semifinals. Both maps were closely contested and nearly went to overtime, but The MongolZ came out on top in the decisive moments.

Like NAVI, BB finished third in their group and caused something of an upset by eliminating FURIA (2 : 1) in the quarterfinals. However, they were unable to put up much resistance against MOUZ in the semifinals (0 : 2). MOUZ remain undefeated at the tournament.

Notably, NAVI and BB faced each other just recently at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, where our team suffered a 0 : 2 defeat. We hope things will be different this time and the Born to Win can avenge that defeat and secure third place at the last major LAN tournament before PGL Major Singapore 2026.
