NAVI CS2 traditionally started their journey in the group stage, where nobody could stop them. Our team defeated paiN (2 : 0) and Astralis (2 : 0) and secured a place in the Lanxess Arena.
In the match for the semifinals, Born to Win faced problems for the first time. SAW trained Nuke and unexpectedly won on their choice (13 : 9). Nevertheless, the Portuguese team had no chance on the next two maps (13 : 2 Ancient, 13 : 6 Inferno).
The semifinal match against MOUZ can be considered the most intense of the entire tournament. The young team was competitive on both maps, but each time Born to Win came out stronger. It's worth noting the play of Aleksib, who scored two decisive clutches on the final Mirage that allowed NAVI to reach the final.
In the decisive best-of-5 match against Vitality our team lost in a competitive four-map match (1 : 3) and became the silver medalist of IEM Cologne!
