NAVI Junior finished 3rd in the EPL S16: Division 2 tournament after losing in the semi-finals of the lower bracket. The Academics once again made it to the podium and earned $ 1 000.

The "Juniors" easily made it through the group stages of similar tournaments. But this time, after beating Astralis Talent (2 : 1), the Academy players found themselves up against the stronger L&G (1 : 2). NAVI Junior had to play a rematch against Astralis Talent.
