WePlay Academy League Season 5: Third meeting with Astralis Talent

NAVI Junior continues its journey in the youth league. In the second Gauntlet stage, our team will meet Astralis Talent. The match starts at 15:00 CEST, the format is best of 3.

Our guys took second place in the group and went straight to the Gauntlet stage final. Winning this match will allow us to participate in the playoffs. The Danish team also advanced to the next stage, but took only the fourth place in Group A. They played against Furia Academy in the first round of the Gauntlet stage and finished the match confidently on two maps: 16 : 14 on Vertigo, 16 : 12 on Overpass. Regardless of the result in the first stage of the tournament, Astralis Talent was the leader of Group A for a long time and competed with NAVI Junior for this place.

The teams had already met twice in the competitions. Both times the advantage was on NAVI Junior side: 22 : 20 on Vertigo in the first match of the tournament and 16 : 5 on Mirage. Despite these positive statistics, our team remains the only team to have outplayed the Danes twice during the group stage.
