Open qualifiers (September 22-25):

• 2 qualification rounds;
• Single Elimination bracket;
• quarter-final matches and beyond are best of 3, all other matches are best of 1;
• 2 teams from each qualifier advance to the next stage.

Closed qualifiers (September 26-28):

• Double Elimination bracket;
• all matches are best of 3;
• 2 teams qualify for the tournament.
