Nodirbek Abdusattorov extends contract with NAVI

We are pleased to announce that Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov has extended his contract with NAVI and will continue representing the club in tournaments in 2027.

Nodirbek joined NAVI in mid-February 2025. Since then, he has competed at the Esports World Cup twice, finishing 5th–8th in both 2025 and 2026.

However, 2026 has also been an incredible year for Nodirbek beyond EWC. In February, he fulfilled his dream of winning Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2026 — Masters and also claimed bronze at the FIDE Freestyle Chess World Championship 2026. Just a month later, the grandmaster added another title to his collection with a victory at Prague International Chess Festival 2026 — Masters.

The second half of the year proved just as successful. Nodirbek secured silver medals at Super Rapid & Blitz Croatia 2026 and Green Hills Resort Masters 2026, while the highlight was his double gold at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand. The NAVI grandmaster claimed individual gold on board one and helped Uzbekistan secure the team title.

We hope Nodirbek will continue to delight NAVI fans with outstanding performances and more victories next season. There are plenty of tournaments ahead, including EWC 2027!
