NAVI grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov has received an invitation to Esports World Cup 2026 thanks to the points he earned in the Champions Chess Tour 2025–26 rankings.

He finished fifteenth in the standings, but eight players ahead of him had already qualified for EWC through other competitions.

The chess championship will be part of the Esports World Cup 2026 summer festival and will take place in Paris from August 11 to 15. Twenty-two of the world’s best players will compete for a $ 1 500 000 prize pool and EWC Club Points. The lineup is already almost complete, with the final five slots going to the best player from India Rising 2026 and the four winners of the Last Chance Qualifier.

As a reminder, last year Nodirbek Abdusattorov finished 5th–8th at EWC and earned 200 points for NAVI. This time, he also heads into the tournament in excellent form: earlier, he claimed victories at the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2026 and the Prague International Chess Festival 2026.
