DarkAngel advances to the Esports World Cup 2025 playoffs

All Group C matches at the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves fighting game tournament as part of the Esports World Cup 2025 have now concluded. In the lower bracket's decisive match, NAVI player Luis Guadalupe "DarkAngel" Castillo Gomez defeated Kindevu (Team Falcons) to secure his spot in the playoffs.

DarkAngel began his EWC 2025 performance with a loss to Kindevu (0 : 3), but was able to pull himself together in the losers' bracket to first defeat Nemo (Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto) 3 : 2, and then take revenge on Kindevu (3 : 1).

DarkAngel's entry into the playoffs has already brought NAVI 200 EWC club points. We congratulate our player on a confident start and wish him the best of luck in the tournament’s ultimate stage!

The final part of the Esports World Cup 2025 will be held on July 12. It will follow a Single Elimination bracket with an additional match for third place. The tournament winner will receive $300,000.
