IEM Rio 2023: match for the playoff vs NIP

Already after the second match in Rio, Born to Win can secure themselves a place in the next stage. The semi-final of the upper bracket against NIP starts today at 21:00 and will be held in the best-of-3 format.

In the first-ever match against TheMongolz, our boys had no problems on Mirage. The starts of the halves were in favor of our squad, and even though in the first part of the match the Mongolian team managed to get a mini-comeback up to 7 : 8, Natus Vincere did not allow them to do it the second time (16 : 9).

NIP, in turn, met even less resistance in the match against the "hosts" of the tournament from Imperial. The mix with the legendary Fallen came to this tournament "on short notice" due to the Outsiders' refusal to participate, so they haven't managed to prepare decently (5 : 16 Mirage).

During this season, our team played against NIP twice during the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023. Then, both times Born to Win turned out to be stronger than the opponent on three maps.
