PGL Masters Bucharest 2026: second chance to reach the playoffs

After yesterday's defeat to BB (0 : 2), NAVI still have two chances to qualify for the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 playoffs and earn valuable VRS points.

We hope it will only take one. To make that happen, NAVI need to defeat the world's second-ranked team, Vitality, in a best-of-three match starting at 18:00 CET. However, the French club are competing with a stand-in at this tournament: jL, a player well known to NAVI fans, is temporarily filling in for captain apEX.

Vitality started the group stage with two convincing victories over 9z (2 : 0) and MongolZ (2 : 0). However, just like NAVI, they lost their first match with a playoff spot on the line. The French club fell to FUT, who proved stronger on Dust II and Anubis.

NAVI also started the tournament with two victories, defeating G2 (2 : 0) and FURIA (2 : 0), but were unable to overcome BB in their crucial match.

NAVI and Vitality have faced each other five times in 2026, with the French club holding a slight advantage. However, the two most recent encounters (at IEM Atlanta 2026 in May and ESL Pro League Season 24 in October) both ended in victories for the Born to Win.

We believe NAVI can defeat Vitality once again today and secure their spot in the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 playoffs!
